If you are a member of a group, or would like to start a group who aims to look after a particular
species, habitat or natural area for the benefit of wildlife and the natural environment, please do let us know. We would love to help you meet your aims. NK can support you with:

Advice and training to help you get started
Technical advice
Recruitment of volunteers if needed
Publicity and information sharing
Tools and materials

Kendal Town Council and Westmorland Furness Council have offered to provide some money to get many of these initiatives underway.

How can I help?
There are many ways you can help nature recovery in Kendal.

Become a volunteer.
Be actively involved with practical tasks such as habitat restoration, citizen science or planting. Sign up to our newsletter and keep an eye out for volunteering opportunities coming soon.

Set up your own project or group.
If you have a great idea - share it with us, we can help you - no matter how big or small, it will make a difference!
